Tuscan Style Decorating is one of my favorite looks in a home of all time. I simply love the colors of the warm and rich earth tones, the golden yellows, wine colored reds and the accents of the olive greens. But it goes way beyond the colors. There are lots of texture in a Tuscan style of decorating from the terra cotta tiles on the floors to the textured walls, they all play a part in this warm and inviting look.

The Tuscan accents will add even more interest completing the design. This is one style of decorating that I will never grow tired of no matter how many times I see a Tuscan style home.

Wow! I have found some really great home decor treasures to add to Potpourri Emporium. I just love bowls. There is so much you can do with a great bowl, like maybe fill with potpourri. It doesn't have to be the traditional potpourri that is used for fragrance, but you can fill it with decorative items. Things like blocks and balls, marbles, and even candles.

Finding Treasures!

Who doesn't love finding treasures when you go shopping? It's those off the beaten path shops where I have the most success. I have found some great wrought iron candle chandeliers, a few roosters (who doesn't have a rooster collection?) as well as really fun pillows.

Everytime I go on vacation, I love to find those locally owned shops where everything I see I want to buy. Problem is, I'm running out of space to display them in my home.

After I came to realize that I love unique and fun decor items, I decided to open my own shop. However, I didn't want to have to start up a brick and mortar shop so as a result, I am working on building Potpourri Emporium.
