Grand Opening

The day has come! Yesterday was the Grand Opening of Potpourri Emporium and it was exciting. Things went pretty smoothly and came off without a hitch.

The site is about what I really enjoy and that is home. I enjoy different types of home decor and finding unique and fun items to showcase for everybody. Hope you enjoy browsing around at Potpourri Emporium.

Gourmet Decaf Coffee

When looking for new fun things or information, many times I will look for opinions rather than simply facts. Take product reviews as an example. Too many of them seem to point out the facts or specs of a particular product but the person reviewing it never says how they like it.

That's why I like this article on Gourmet Decaf Coffee. It speaks more of the coffee taste, and personal likes rather than how the coffee bean is put throught the decaf process. Things like this will be featured on Potpourri Emporium when it is completed.

So I thought you might like to check it out too. Gourmet Decaf Coffee.

Enjoy

Making Progress

Wow! I have found some really great home decor treasures to add to Potpourri Emporium. I just love bowls. There is so much you can do with a great bowl, like maybe fill with potpourri. It doesn't have to be the traditional potpourri that is used for fragrance, but you can fill it with decorative items. Things like blocks and balls, marbles, and even candles.

What do you put in your home decor bowls? Leave your ideas by posting your comments below.

Finding Treasures!

Who doesn't love finding treasures when you go shopping? It's those off the beaten path shops where I have the most success. I have found some great wrought iron candle chandeliers, a few roosters (who doesn't have a rooster collection?) as well as really fun pillows.

Everytime I go on vacation, I love to find those locally owned shops where everything I see I want to buy. Problem is, I'm running out of space to display them in my home.

After I came to realize that I love unique and fun decor items, I decided to open my own shop. However, I didn't want to have to start up a brick and mortar shop so as a result, I am working on building Potpourri Emporium.

Searching for just the right items is half the fun. So once I've completed I hope you will visit PoptpourriEmporium.com

What kind of treasures do you enjoy? Let us know by posting your ideas.
Have fun shopping.

PS...When you visit, remember that we are still building Potpourri Emporium.
